Marysville Pride Fest 2025

The first annual Marysville Pride Fest took place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in Totem Middle School's Asbery Athletic Field - welcoming more than 1,200 attendees. The event marked a historic milestone for the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Marysville and the greater Marysville-Tulalip area. The event created a safe, affirming space where people could gather freely, without fear or judgement.

From start to finish, the day reflected unity, joy, and resilience. More than 75 volunteers supported setup, operations, and teardown—demonstrating deep community engagement. The festival began with a peaceful march of approximately 100 participants, who were met only with support and encouragement. An opening ceremony acknowledged the Native lands and peoples of the region, followed by a full day of live music, performances, and opportunities for connection.

The festival was intentionally designed to be inclusive and family-friendly:

  • Family & Recreation: The central field hosted games and picnic space.

  • Gender-Affirming Support: A free clothing closet offering gender-affirming clothing was well utilized and deeply appreciated.

  • Creative Expression: Craft-making and face painting activities engaged children and families.

  • Accessibility: A sensory area provided a calm, supportive environment for attendees who benefit from lower-stimulation spaces.

The event featured 33 vendors, ranging from food trucks and artisans to community theater, nonprofits, and local businesses.

We thank all the volunteers, speakers, performers, and vendors. Without you, this event would not have been a success.
